Southern-Sòng official, grandson of 張根 Zhāng Gēn. He composed the postface to the Wúyuán Zhōuyì jiě (KR1a0019) — the principal biographical witness for Zhāng Gēn’s now-lost wider corpus of Five Classics commentaries and the Sòngcháo biānnián 宋朝編年.
