Early-Northern-Sòng prefect-administrator and poet, zì Fùzhī 復之, hào Guāiyá 乖崖, posthumous Zhōngdìng 忠定, of Púzhōu 濮州. Jìnshì of Tàipíng xīngguó 5 / 980. Best known as the “iron prefect” of Yìzhōu 益州 (Chéngdū): twice civil governor of Sìchuān (998–1000 and 1006–1009), where he stabilized the region after the Wáng Xiǎobō / Lǐ Shùn rising and presided over the early steps in the development of jiāozǐ 交子 paper money. Earlier prefect of Chóngyáng (whence Wáng Yǔchēng’s Sòng zǎi Chóngyáng xù) and held Lǐbù shàngshū among his late offices. Died 1015, age 70. Shéndào bēi by Hán Qí 韓琦. Yǔlù preserved by Lǐ Tián 李畋. Listed at no. 11 in the XīKūn chóuchàng group, though the Sìkù tíyào observes that his actual prose style was plain rather than decorative.
