Zhāng Yìshào 張逸少

Early-Qīng court official and Hànlín compiler, fl. Kāngxī era. Native place and career-details not securely documented beyond his service as co-chief-compiler (with 汪灝) of the Pèiwénzhāi guǎng qúnfāng pǔ 御定佩文齋廣羣芳譜 (KR3i0044) in 100 juàn, completed and printed in Kāngxī 47 (1708). His Hànlín-Academy compiler role made him one of the senior literary scholars of the Kāngxī court, but he does not have a Qīngshǐ gǎo biography. CBDB has no entry.

The work’s prefatory biǎo (memorial) lists him as one of the four imperial-decree compilers (alongside Wāng Hào, Wāng Lóng, and Huáng Lóngméi). His exact lifedates and detailed career are otherwise not documented.
