Xú Zhào 徐照 (d. 1211, zì Dàohuī 道暉, alternate zì Línghuī 靈暉, self-named Shānmín 山民), of Yǒngjiā 永嘉 in Wēnzhōu. The senior member of the Yǒngjiā Sìlíng 永嘉四靈 — the four late-Southern-Sòng poets whose zì / hào contained the character líng 靈 (Xú Zhào, 徐璣, Wēng Juàn 翁卷, Zhào Shīxiù 趙師秀) — who deliberately broke with the Jiāngxīpài on the model of late-Táng quatrain poetry. Associated with Yè Shì 葉適, who composed his tomb-inscription. Note: Chén Zhènsūn’s Shūlù jiětí erroneously gives his self-hào as Tiānmín 天民; the Sìkù editors correct to Shānmín on the basis of Zhào Shīxiù’s preserved Āi Shānmín shī. CBDB id 44992. Author of KR4d0297 Fānglánxuān jí (also called Shānmín jí).
