Chéng Tíngguī 成廷珪 (Yuán, fl. 1360, d. after age 70 c. 1370), zì Yuáncháng 原常 (also Yuánzhāng 原章), yīzì Lǐzhí 禮執. Native of Yángzhōu 揚州. Hào Jūzhúxuān 居竹軒 (“Studio-of-Living-in-Bamboo,” whence the collection title KR4d0543) — from the bamboo planted in his courtyard at Yángzhōu while caring for his mother. Bù qiú shìjìn (did not pursue office); supported his mother in the marketplace. Late life when xiāngluàn (late-Yuán war) — bìdì Wúzhōng — zōngjì duō zài Sōngjiāng — collection has “yù bǔjū hǎishàng” poem; died at Yúnjiān (Sōngjiāng) at age over 70. Long-friend Zhāng Zhù 張翥 (forty-year friendship, wàngnián jiāo) — Chéng’s verse-method and gézhì from Zhāng. Exchange-correspondents include Yáng Wéizhēn 楊維禎, Wēi Sù 危素, Yáng Jī 楊基, Lǐ Fǔ 李黼, Yú Què 余闕, Zhāng Yǔ 張雨, Ní Zàn 倪瓚 — yīdài shèngliú (the era’s elite). Collection edited posthumously by his friends Gào Sù 郜肅 and Liú Qīn 劉欽.
