Lǐ Péng 李彭 (fl. Yuányòu–Xuānhé, c. 1090–1130), zì Shānglǎo 商老, of Nánkāngjūn 南康軍 Jiànchāng 建昌 (Jiāngxī). Per Chén Zhènsūn’s Zhízhāi shūlù jiětí, cóngsūn (great-nephew) of Lǐ Gōngzé 李公擇 (Lǐ Cháng 李常). Wáng Míngqīng’s Huīzhǔlù gives a different identification — grandson of Lǐ Dìng 李定 (the Zhòngqiú censor of the Wūtái shīàn) — both attributions uncertain. Lǐ Péng held no recorded office; the Sòng shǐ has no biography. Listed by Lǚ Běnzhōng 呂本中 in the Jiāngxī shīshè zōngpài tú, fifteenth in rank, immediately after Hán Jū. Author of Rì shèyuán jí 日涉園集 KR4d0120 in 10 juǎn (originally; Sìkù reconstruction). Correspondents include Sū Shì 蘇軾 蘇軾, Zhāng Lěi 張耒 張耒, and Liú Xīzhòng 劉羲仲. Liú Kèzhuāng’s Hòucūn shīhuà praises Lǐ Péng’s broad reading and strong memory but criticises his narrow poetic register.
