Lǐ Zhīxiān 李知先 (fl. twelfth century, 宋), Sòng-period physician. Author of the Huó rén shū kuò 活人書括 — a versified digest of 朱肱 Zhū Hóng’s Lèi zhèng huó rén shū 類證活人書 (preface 1107), the dominant Northern-Sòng Shānghán clinical reference. The Huó rén shū kuò renders Zhū Hóng’s clinical material as mnemonic verse for student memorization, in the same gējué 歌訣 tradition as 許叔微’s Shānghán bǎi zhèng gē (KR3ef061). The work was later re-illustrated and republished in the Míng by the Fújiàn pedagogue-publisher 熊宗立 (Xióng Zōnglì, 1409–1482) under the title Lèi biān Shānghán huó rén shū kuò zhǐzhǎng tú lùn 類編傷寒活人書括指掌圖論 (KR3ef077). Detailed biographical information about Lǐ is not preserved.
