Early-Qīng scholar and bibliophile of Xiùshuǐ 秀水 (modern Jiāxīng, Zhèjiāng), zì Wǔzēng 武曾, hào Qiūjǐn 秋錦. He composed the 1692 (Kāngxī rénshēn) postface to 張根 Zhāng Gēn’s Wúyuán Zhōuyì jiě (KR1a0019) on the Xú-family Zhuàn shì lóu 傳是樓 manuscript — a small monument of late-Míng / early-Qīng cáng shū 藏書 book-culture, marking the work as already rare in his day.
