Dù Zhào 杜詔 (1666–1736; lifedates not in CBDB but well attested in literary biographies), zì Zǐlún 紫綸, hào Yúnchuān 雲川, native of Wúxī 無錫 (ChángZhōu prefecture, Jiāngsū). Jǔrén of Kāngxī 38 (1699); subsequently jìnshì of Kāngxī 51 (1712). Entered the Hanlin and rose to jiǎntǎo 檢討. A noted poet and cí writer, included in the imperial poetic compilation Yùzhì Pèiwénzhāi shīwén jí and recommended for the Bóxué hóngcí 博學鴻詞 examination of Kāngxī 18 (though not selected). Engaged as principal biānzuǎn of the Shāndōng tōngzhì (KR2k0048) under Yuè Jùn in 1729; carried the project through to its near-completion in 1735–1736.
