Liáng Yì 梁益
Zì Yǒuzhí 友直, hào Yōngzhāi 庸齋. Native of Jiāngyīn 江陰 (modern Jiāngsū); his ancestors were from Fúzhōu 福州, hence his self-designation Sānshān 三山. Lifedates not recoverable; Yuánshǐ attaches his record to the Rúlín zhuàn biography of Lù Wénguī 陸文圭.
He passed the JiāngZhè provincial examination but did not enter office, instead teaching in his home district to the end of his life. Author of Shī zhuàn pángtōng 詩傳旁通 in 15 juǎn (KR1c0029) — modeled on Dù Wényīng 杜文瑛’s YǔMèng pángtōng (already extant under a similar title) and following the procedure of Kǒng Yǐngdá’s and Jiǎ Gōngyàn’s zhèngyì-style sub-commentaries: documenting every textual parallel and historical reference cited in Zhū Xī’s Shī jí zhuàn with full source-attribution. The work was prefaced in Zhìzhèng 4 (1344) by the Tàipínglù zǒngguǎn fǔ tuīguān Bīnzhōu Dí Sīzhōng 翟思忠; the late-Míng Shòujīng tú of Zhū Mùjué incorrectly attributed authorship to Dí Sīzhōng — an error already corrected by Líng Yuánfǔ 陵元輔 (preserved in Zhū Yízūn’s Jīngyì kǎo) and noted by the Sìkù editors here.
