Yáng Jié 楊傑 (fl. JiāyòuYuányòu, c. 1030s–c. 1100s), Cìgōng 次公, hào Wúwéizǐ 無為子 (after his Wúwéijūn 無為軍 native place, Ānhuī). Jiāyòu 4 / 1059 jìnshì. In Yuánfēng (1078–1085) held Lǐbù yuánwàiláng; sent out as zhī Rùnzhōu 知潤州; appointed LiǎngZhè tídiǎn xíngyù; died in office. Studied under Hú Yuán 胡瑗 胡瑗; close associate of Ōuyáng Xiū 歐陽修, Wáng Ānshí 王安石, and Sū Shì 蘇軾. Dispatched as ambassador to Mt. Tài for the guān rìchū sunrise observation; on the chrysanthemum festival composed poems on Mt. Huá’s Liánhuā peak; in 1085 dispatched to accompany the Korean monk Ŭich’ŏn 義天 (Ǔi-cheon, 1055–1101) on his pilgrimage in China — through which he became deeply versed in Buddhism. Praised by Dà chéngxiàng Wáng (Ānshí) and Nèihàn Sū (Shì) and held a shìjiǎng concurrent appointment (hence the yuánxù’s “Shìjiǎng Yáng xiānshēng”). Died age 70. His Wúwéi jí 無為集 KR4d0058 in 15 juǎn, lost after the Nándù, was reconstituted in Shàoxīng 13 / 1143 by Zhào Shìhū 趙士㣓 趙士㣓 then zhī Wúwéijūn. CBDB notes the lifedate gap; Ānhuī tōngzhì 154.8a is the principal source.
