Yáng Guìfēi 楊貴妃 / Yáng Yùhuán 楊玉環 (719–756), Imperial Consort of Táng Xuánzōng 玄宗 and one of the canonical “Four Beauties” of Chinese tradition. Conventionally invoked together with 西施 Xīshī as a paradigm of female beauty, as in 胡文煥 Hú Wénhuàn’s preface to Xiānglián rùnsè 香奩潤色 (KR3eo020).
