Yáng Qíxián 楊齊賢
Zì Zǐjiàn 子見. Native of Chōnglíng 舂陵 in Yǒngzhōu 永州 (modern Níngyuǎn 寧遠, southern Húnán). Sòng-period scholar; floruit late 12th – early 13th century by internal evidence (his commentary cites SòngYuán transitional sources). His principal scholarly contribution is the Lǐ Tàibái jí jízhù 李太白集集注, the foundation of the SòngYuán annotated tradition for Lǐ Bái’s poetry, transmitted today only in Xiāo Shìyún’s 蕭士贇 shānbǔ (Yuán-period revised) recension as KR4c0013. The Sìkù compilers note that Yáng’s annotations follow the Sòng kǎojù tradition: extensive references to history and parallel poetry, conservative on textual judgments, with the limitations of one who could not always distinguish the Sòng yuèfǔ anthology titles from the Hànshū yìwén zhì originals. CBDB has no entry; no other works survive.
