Shěn Sōng 沈松

Shěn Sōng 沈松 (b. 1488; CBDB id 201979), hào Nányá 南厓, native of Wúxīng 吳興 (Húzhōu, Zhèjiāng). Míng official who served as Imperial Censor (奉敕巡按山西監察御史) with responsibility for overseeing the 河東鹽政 (Hédōng salt administration in Shānxī). He is known principally as the author of the preface to the Zhōngmì yuánběn 中秘元本 (KR3k0071), a classified literary-phrase reference, which he obtained from 沁水 Li Grand Minister 石樓先生 and had carved for wider circulation after engaging 呂柟 of Gāolíng 高陵 to write the postface. No further biographical data has been located beyond the CBDB record.

Note: CBDB lists two other individuals named 沈松 (ids 212195 and 632267) without dates, and these cannot be confidently distinguished from or identified with id 201979.
