Hǎishòu 海壽

Mid-14th-century Japanese Chán / Rinzai-Zen monk, hào Chúntíng 椿庭 (Chintei), self-style Mùbēi dàorén 木杯道人. Yángqí-branch Línjì disciple of 梵僊 Zhúxiān Fànxiān 竺仙梵僊 (Jikusen Bonsen, 1292–1348), the founder of the Chikusen-ha 竺仙派 who had crossed to Japan as a dharma-heir of 清茂 Gǔlín Qīngmào. Resident at Nánchánsì 南禪寺 (Nanzen-ji) in Kyōto; editor (編次) of the two-juan Gǔlín Qīngmào chánshī shíyí jìsòng 古林清茂禪師拾遺偈頌 (KR6q0346), recovering some 338 additional jìsòng of Qīngmào from manuscript remnants reaching Japan from Jiāngnán via Koryŏ and Kyūshū. DILA also records his editorial involvement in the Liǎoān Qīngyù chánshī yǔlù (X71 n1414). Lifedates unrecorded.
