海順 Kaijun

Japanese Tendai 天台 monk who travelled to Sòng China together with 延慶 Enkei to study with 法照 Huìyán Fǎzhào at Hángzhōu Shàngtiānzhúsì. The two had Fǎzhào’s portrait painted and brought it back to Japan, where the Fǎhuá jīng sāndàbù dújiào jì (KR6d0062) was subsequently studied in the medieval Tendai tradition.
