Wáng Zhīshū 王之樞 (b. 1666), early-Qīng official; Nèigé xuéshì 內閣學士 (Grand Secretariat Academician). On the imperial commission of the Kāngxī 康熙 emperor, he edited and brought to completion the Yùdìng lìdài jìshì niánbiǎo 御定歷代紀事年表 (the Lìdài jìshì niánbiǎo; KR2d0019) — a 100-juǎn synoptic chronological table of Chinese history from Yáo (2356 BCE traditionally) down to the end of the Yuán (1368). The compilation drew on the earlier draft of the bùyī 布衣 (commoner-scholar) Gōng Shìjiǒng 龔士炯 and was first taken up by Gōngbù shìláng 工部侍郎 Zhōu Qīngyuán 周清原 (see 周清原); on Zhōu’s death the work was transferred to Wáng Zhīshū, who established a compilation bureau at Zhōu’s family residence and worked with Zhōu’s son Zhōu Jiāzhēn 周嘉楨 as xiéxiū (associate compiler) over six years. The work was completed and presented to the throne between Kāngxī 46 and 51 (1707–1712). The CBDB entry (id 59912) records his birth in 1666 with no other particulars; he was a contemporary of Wàn Sītóng and active in the late Kāngxī compilation projects.
