Wáng Tàiyuè 王太岳 (1722–1785), zì Jīpíng 基平, hào Jièzǐ 芥子, of Bǎodǐ 寶坻 in Zhílì (modern Tiānjīn region). Jìnshì of Qiánlóng 7 / 1742. Held senior posts in the Wényuān gé (the imperial Hànlín library) and the Sìkù guǎn — the editorial bureau of the Sìkù quánshū. A senior editor under Jì Yún 紀昀; principal compiler (with Wáng Yànxù 王燕緒) of the Qīndìng sìkù quánshū kǎozhèng KR4j0091 in 100 juǎn (1786 completion, after Wáng’s death). The Kǎozhèng is the methodological companion volume to the entire Sìkù quánshū: its 100-juǎn record of all textual collation decisions taken across the imperial library’s compilation. CBDB 57809 gives 1722–1785.
