Bái Lǚzhōng 白履忠 (hào Liángqiū zǐ 梁丘子; fl. 722–729) was a court Daoist of the reign of Emperor Xuánzōng 玄宗 (r. 712–756) and the canonical Táng commentator on both the Huángtíng nèijǐng and Huángtíng wàijǐng. His biography is preserved in Xīn Táng shū 新唐書 192.5124, which records his commentaries on the two Huángtíng scriptures.

His surviving commentaries are:

  • Huángtíng nèijǐng yùjīng zhù 黃庭內景玉經註 KR5b0086 (DZ 402), 3 juàn — the canonical commentary on the Nèijǐng KR5b0015, with two prefaces (Bái’s own and that of the earlier Wǔchéng zǐ 務成子 commentary).
  • Huángtíng wàijǐng yùjīng zhù 黃庭外景玉經註, 2 juàn — commentary on the Wàijǐng KR5b0016, preserved only in DZ 263 Xiūzhēn shíshū 58–60.

The hào Liángqiū zǐ is the form under which Bái’s commentaries are typically cited in later literature, including the Huángtíng citation-apparatus of the Sòng–Yuán period. No CBDB record.
