Yìzhèng 益證
Mid-late seventeenth-century Línjì Chán monk, dharma-heir or junior associate of Jièwéi Xíngzhōu 介為行舟 (1611–1670) in the Wànrú Tōngwēi sub-line. Co-compiler (děng biān 等編) of KR6q0424 《介為舟禪師語錄》 (Jiāxīng Canon J28 B205), working with 海鹽 Hǎiyán.
The 益-generation character is non-standard for the Mìyún line’s main lineage-poem and may indicate either (a) a sub-branch variant, or (b) a personal rather than generation-character naming. Native place, lay surname, and lifedates unrecovered.

A second person also named Yìzhèng (DILA A000943), distinct from the Wàn-rú-line dharma-heir treated above. Late-Míng / early-Qīng Buddhist monk-emigrant to Japan, courtesy name (字) Zìxīn 自新. Native of Jiānglíng 江陵 (in modern Húběi).
Originally affiliated with the Mòfǎbǐqiū (末法比丘 — “bhikkhu of the latter dharma”) Bǎohuáshān Hùguó Shènghuà Lóngchāngsì 寶華山護國聖化隆昌寺 in Nándū 南都 (Nánjīng) — the prominent late-Míng Vinaya-school revivalist monastery on Mt Bǎohuá. He emigrated to Japan, almost certainly as part of the wave of late-Míng / early-Qīng Chinese Chan-and-Vinaya monks who took refuge at Nagasaki’s three Chinese temples (the Sānsì 三寺: Kōfuku-ji 興福寺 = Nánjīngsì 南京寺, Sōfuku-ji 崇福寺 = Fúzhōusì 福州寺, and Fukusai-ji 福濟寺 = Zhāngzhōusì 漳州寺) during the MíngQīng transition.
His Bōrě xīnjīng yīguàn shū 般若心經一貫疏 (X557 = KR6c0176) was composed at Kōfuku-ji’s Sāliáo 左寮 (West Wing) guest-residence in autumn of Shōhō 5 / Shùnzhì 5 (1648), apparently at the request of one of his Japanese hosts (“存空法主” — Master Cúnkōng), with subsequent kunten annotation by his Japanese collaborators. The commentary is therefore a small but historically significant artifact of the early Sino-Japanese Ōbaku-precursor monastic exchange at Nagasaki.
