Mò Méishì 莫枚士 (míng Wénquán 文泉, Méishì, 1837–1907) was a late-Qīng jīngfāng scholar and kǎozhèngyīxué (philological medical) physician of Guīān 歸安 (Húzhōu, Zhèjiāng). He devoted his career to the careful philological-and-clinical analysis of Zhāng Zhòngjǐng’s classical-formula corpus and produced two major scholarly contributions: the Yánjīng yán 研經言 (an essay-collection on the Shānghán lùn and Jīnguì yàolüè, c. 1880) and the Jīngfāng lìshì 經方例釋 KR3ed081 (a systematic formulary-commentary analysing the classical formulas by category-and-variation, c. 1885). His method — jīngfāng doctrine plus Qīng kǎozhèng philology — is one of the cleanest late-Qīng integrations of textual scholarship and clinical practice and was praised by the most rigorous physicians of the next generation (Yú Yúngchū 余聽鴻, Zhāng Xīchún 張錫純).
