Jué 覺 (Zìxián Xíngjué 自閒行覺)
DILA-standardized Xíngjué 行覺; zì Zìxián 自閒 (“Self-Leisured”). LínjìYángqí dharma-heir of Línyě Tōngqí 林野通奇 (1596–1652) at Tōngxuánsì 通玄寺. Born 萬曆庚戌 8/7 = 1610-09-23 Gregorian; died 辛丑 12/27 午時 = 1662-02-14 Gregorian, shìshòu 53, sēnglà 34. Native of Hézhōu 合州 (Chóngqìng, Sìchuān); lay surname Yú 余 (also attested as 徐).
Formation. Tonsured at age 8 at Mǎdāngshān 馬當山 under Tàikōng héshàng 太空和尚. 乙亥 = 1635: left Sìchuān, first met Mìyún Yuánwù 圓悟 at Tiāntóng. Decisive xǐng on a lùzhù 露柱 collision incident. Final transmission from Tōngxuán Línlǎo 通玄林老 = Línyě Tōngqí.
Six abbacies (1648–1656). 戊子 1648: Sūzhōu Huángxī Luóhànsì → 己丑 1649: Chóngchuān Cíjì → 庚寅 1650: Fèngchuān Fǎhǎi → 辛卯 1651: Fèngchuān Yuèlín → 甲午 1654: Jiāxīng Lóngyuān Jǐngdé → 丙申 1656: Jīngxī Fúróngsì 芙蓉禪寺 (death-seat). Thirty-three named fǎsì heirs including Cílǎng Jiù 慈朗鷲, Hànguān Yù 漢關喻, Tiānmù Zhì 天目智, Hānyú Xiān 洪暹 憨予暹 (the principal compiler of KR6q0469).
