Chāojù 超巨
Mid-late seventeenth-century Línjì Chán monk, dharma-heir of Èryǐn Xíngmì 二隱行謐 (c. 1606–1665) in the Mìyún → Línyě Tōngqí line. Co-compiler (děng biān 等編) of KR6q0430 《二隱謐禪師語錄》 (Jiāxīng Canon J28 B212). Based at Jiāngnán Yángzhōu Gāoshā Tiānwángsì 江南揚州高沙天王禪寺. The 超-generation character is standard for the 34th-generation Línjì / 35th-generation Cáoxī level below Xíngmì’s 行-generation.
