Dàoyì 道邑 was a Tang-period Cí’ēn / Fǎxiàng commentator known principally for his five-fascicle KR6n0037 Chéng wéishí lùn yìyùn 成唯識論義蘊 (X49n0814) — a doctrinal-substantive commentary on KR6n0016 Chéng wéishí lùn. No biographical material survives independently of the work; on internal grounds (his use of 窺基’s shùjì but apparent unfamiliarity with 智周’s yǎnmì) he is generally placed in the late seventh century, perhaps a contemporary or slightly junior to 慧沼. The work is preserved in the Xuzangjing (X49n0814) and not in the Taishō.
