Qián Yì 錢易 (c. 970–1024), zì Xībái 希白. Native of Línān 臨安 (Wúyuè / modern Hángzhōu). Son of the Wúyuè king Qián Cóng 錢俶 (929–988), the last Wúyuè ruler who surrendered to the Sòng in 978. Jìnshì of Chúnhuà 3 (992). Held a succession of central and metropolitan posts under Zhēnzōng — Hànlín xuéshì, Kāifēng zhīxiàn (during the Dàzhōng xiángfú era, 1008–1016, the period of KR3l0026 Nánbù xīnshū composition), Zhī zhìgào. Author also of the now-lost Jiāzhī táng jí 嘉枝堂集 (literary collection) and several other titles listed in Sòng shǐ Yìwén zhì. CBDB id 146 records the name without firm lifedates; the standard scholarly dates (c. 970–1024) are based on the Sòng shǐ 317 biography and the Yùhǎi notice. He was a recognised literary figure of the Dàzhōng xiángfú — Tiānxǐ era.
