Qīngpǔ zhū jūnzǐ 青浦諸君子 (“the various worthy gentlemen of Qīngpǔ”) — collective authorial designation under which the late-Qīng Shòushì biān 壽世編 (KR3eo017) was compiled. Qīngpǔ 青浦 was an administrative county of Sōngjiāng prefecture 松江府 in southeastern Jiāngsū (modern Shànghǎi western suburb). The designation refers to a group of literati gentlemen associated with the Qīngpǔ community-charitable / shànshū publication economy of the second half of the 19th century, in which family prescription collections and household medical recipes were pooled and printed for free distribution, often under the editorial coordination of local “Lèshàntáng” 樂善堂 establishments.
