Féng Zhàozhāng 馮兆張 ( Chǔzhān 楚瞻, fl. 1670–1710, 清), Hǎiyán 海鹽 (Zhèjiāng) physician of the early Kāngxī era. Author of the substantial early-Qīng systematic medical encyclopedia Féngshì jǐnnáng mìlù 馮氏錦囊秘錄 (50 juǎn, completed 1702 = Kāngxī 41), one of the principal bridges between the late-Míng gāngmù synthesis (Wáng Kěntáng, Wǔ Zhīwàng) and the imperially-sponsored Yīzōng jīnjiàn of 1742. The Jǐnnáng mìlù is organised by sub-discipline (internal medicine, paediatrics, gynecology, shānghán, wàikē, pulse-diagnosis, materia medica) and was widely reprinted throughout the Qīng. The gynecology section was extracted and separately circulated as the Nǚkē jīngyào 女科精要 (KR3ei018). Féng’s clinical approach combines the LǐZhū bǔzhōng / zīyīn synthesis with extensive SòngYuán canonical engagement. CBDB has no entry; no further biographical detail located.
