SòngYuán transitional scholar, Zhíwēng 直翁, of Shàowǔ 邵武 (Fújiàn). Sòng jìnshì (Xiánchún era, c. 1265); a Sòng yímín who lived on into the early Yuán. Compiler of the Gǔjīn yùnhuì 古今韻會, an Yuán-period rhyme-book completing and re-organising the work of Liú Yuān 劉淵 (whose 1252 Rénzǐ xīnkān Lǐbù yùnlüè had reduced the 206 rhymes to 107) and Hán Dàozhāo’s 韓道昭 Wǔyīn jíyùn. The Gǔjīn yùnhuì itself was not printed until subsequently consolidated into the Gǔjīn yùnhuì jǔyào 古今韻會舉要 KR1j0065 by his student-collaborator Xióng Zhōng 熊忠 of Zhāowǔ. Liú Chénwēng’s preface (composed 1297) introduces the abridged jǔyào edition. Huáng’s Lǐ Pèi yúlùn polemic against Jiāngzuǒ Wú dialect — preserved in Xióng Zhōng’s zìmǔ tōngkǎo — is the seed of the early-Míng Hóngwǔ zhèngyùn’s KR1j0068 anti-Wú dialect program.
