Huáng Xī 黃希
Zì Mèngdé 夢得. Native of Yíhuáng xiàn 宜黃 in Fúzhōu 撫州 (modern Yíhuáng in central Jiāngxī). Sòng-period jìnshì, who rose to Yíhuáng xiàn lìng 永新令 (county magistrate of Yǒngxīn in Jízhōu 吉州). Floruit late 12th century. Built the Chūnfēngtáng 春風堂 (“Hall of the Spring Wind”) at his magistracy; Yáng Wànlǐ 楊萬里 (1127–1206) wrote a jì for it, preserved in Chéngzhāi jí 誠齋集.
His scholarly significance is as the original editor of the Bǔ qiānjiā jízhù Dù gōngbù shī shǐ — the running supplementary annotation to Dù Fǔ that he undertook around 1180, drawing on the prior Sòng jízhù tradition (Wáng Zhū, Zhào Cìgōng, Shī Yǐn, Bào Biāo, Dù Xiūkě, Lǔ Yìn). He died with the work unfinished; his son Huáng Hè 黃鶴 completed it in Jiādìng 9 (1216) as the Bǔzhù Dù shī KR4c0017. CBDB has no entry.
