Huáng Dàozhōu 黃道周 (1585–1646), zì Yòupíng 幼平 / Yòuxuán 幼玄, hào Shízhāi 石齋, posthumously Zhōngduān 忠端, was a major Late-Míng Lǐxué polymath, Yìjīng specialist, and Míng-loyalist martyr. Native of Zhāngpǔ 漳浦 (Fújiàn). Jìnshì of Tiānqǐ rénxū (1622); rose to Lǐbù shàngshū under the Lóngwǔ régime in 1646. After the fall of Fújiàn to the Qīng, he was captured by Qīng forces and executed at Nánjīng — refusing to surrender. His celebrated Yì xiàng zhèng 易象正 in the SKQS is the major Late-Míng Yìjīng-numerology work. The present Róng tán wèn yè 榕壇問業 (KR3a0099, 18 juan) is his lecturing-record from the Róng tán lecture-hall at Pǔběishān during his exile (1632–1635) and immediately afterward (1636).
