Sōngyáng chāo cún 松陽鈔存

Selections from Sōng-yáng, Preserved parent material by 陸隴其 (Lù Lǒngqí, 1630–1692, 清, 撰); compiled-and-annotated by 楊開基 (Yáng Kāijī, 清, 編注)

About the work

A 2-juan compilation of materials from Lù Lǒngqí’s tenure as Magistrate of Sōngyáng 松陽 (Zhèjiāng, 1675), edited by his pupil Yáng Kāijī. The work documents Lù’s administrative-and-pedagogical practice in his model magistrate’s role at Sōngyáng — a tenure that became canonical in the late-imperial qīng guān (upright officer) tradition. Substantively the work blends zhèng (administrative) and xué (scholarly) materials, providing the practical complement to Lù’s purely-philosophical Dú Zhū suí bǐ (KR3a0115) and Sānyútáng shèng yán (KR3a0116).
