About the work
A single-juǎn parallel recension of KR3el007 Jiāngshì shāngkē xué 江氏傷科學, both transmitted under the abbreviated alternate title Shāngkē fāngshū 傷科方書 (the full long title is 江氏傷科方書, “Jiāng family prescription-treatise on traumatology”). The author is 江考卿 Jiāng Kǎoqīng (zì Guóxīng 國興, hào Ruìpíng 瑞屏, alt. name 江祥; b. ca. 1770), a Wùyuán 婺源 (then Huīzhōu prefecture, now Jiāngxī) traumatology specialist of Qīnghuá 清華 township, who completed his manuscript in Dàoguāng 20 (1840) at age seventy suì. The manuscript circulated only in hand-copy during the author’s lifetime and was first formally printed in 1924 by 裘吉生 Qiū Jìshēng in the Sānsān yībào 三三醫報 journal. The 漢學文典-recension of KR3el017 (30 kB) is slightly longer than the KR3el007 recension (28 kB) and may preserve a marginally fuller witness of the original manuscript.
Prefaces
No preface is preserved in the 漢學文典 recension. The text opens directly with the Duànsǐ zhèng mìjué 斷死證秘訣 doggerel — the same verse that opens KR3el007.
Abstract
This entry is a parallel-recension companion to KR3el007; for the full bibliographic and content discussion see KR3el007. The two recensions transmit essentially the same work; minor variations of orthography and order do not amount to substantive textual divergence. The two parallel KR-entries reflect the Kanripo corpus’s policy of including both surviving recensions of the same work under separate ids.
Both recensions open with the verse Duànsǐ zhèng mìjué 斷死證秘訣 (the “secret formula for diagnosing mortal injuries”: jīnshāng shēnsǔn yǎnpí qīng, dìng zhǔ shēnwáng nánjiù mìng — “if metal-wound or bodily-damage shows green/blue eyelid, certainly the patient is dying and the life cannot be saved”; rénzhōng zhòumǎn chún yòu qīng, sān rì xūzhī mìng bìqīng — “if the rénzhōng area is fully swollen and the lips are green, know that within three days life will be lost”). The fifteen-item Mìshòu bùzhì fǎ 秘受不治法 list of untreatable conditions follows in identical wording to KR3el007. The body of the text contains the same numbered-prescription protocol (no. 20 Hēilóng sǎn; no. 14 Táohuā sǎn; no. 24 Zhǐxuè sǎn; no. 18 Tiēgāo; no. 6 Jiēgǔ dān; no. 26 Hēilóng sǎn alternate). The closing materia-medica appendix on the Jiēdǎ sǔnshāng gāo 跌打損傷膏 plaster formula and the Mìzhì zhūshā gāo 秘製硃砂膏 cinnabar plaster is identical between the two recensions.
In light of this textual identity, the present entry adopts the same composition date (Dàoguāng 20 = 1840) as KR3el007 and the same author attribution.

The Kanripo catalog meta correctly attributes KR3el017 to Jiāng Kǎoqīng (whereas KR3el007 is anonymously catalogued); the present entry harmonises by attributing both recensions to the same author.
