Qiú Jíshēng 裘吉生 (1873–1947), míng Qìngyuán 慶元, Jíshēng 吉生. Native of Shàoxīng 紹興 (Yuèzhōu 越州, Zhèjiāng). Republican-period physician, publisher, and rare-medical-book collector. Founder of the Shàoxīng yīyào xuébào 紹興醫藥學報 (Shàoxīng Medical Bulletin, 1909) and the Sānsān yībào 三三醫報. The most important Republican-period editor-publisher of the guóyī (national-medicine) movement, responsible for the systematic recovery, printing, and circulation of rare late-Imperial Chinese-medical manuscripts that would otherwise have been lost — including the 1915 print of KR3eq090 Yīxué kèér cè prepared from Zhōu Zhèn’s manuscript. His massive Sānsān yīshū 三三醫書 and Zhēnběn yīshū jíchéng 珍本醫書集成 corpora are standard primary sources for late-Imperial and Republican Chinese-medical bibliography. Not in CBDB.
