The Kanripo catalog meta gives only the title 道經異同字 and catalogs it as SJB and ZHDZ edition — i.e., the Míng Zhèngtǒng Dàozàng (1445) and the Zhōnghuá Dàozàng (1988). No author, date, or dynasty is recorded; no source files are available for Kanseki consultation.
The title, Dào jīng yì tóng zì 道經異同字, translates literally as “Same-and-Different Characters of the Dào Scripture” — i.e., a character-by-character concordance of textual variants. Such variant-concordances were a standard genre of TángSòng Daoist philological scholarship, produced in parallel with the major commentary traditions and typically concerned with identifying variants across different recensions of the Dàodé jīng.
