One of Chén Shàowèi’s paired mid-Táng alchemical oral-instruction texts on the “subduing” (xiū fú 修伏) of numinous cinnabar (líng shā 靈砂). Composed in the Kāi yuán reign (712–734) of Táng Xuán zōng. Preserved as DZ 890 / CT 890 (Dòngshén bù, Zhòng shù lèi 洞神部眾術類).
