Imperially-Commissioned Stele-Inscription for the Zhēnwǔ Temple

A single imperially-commissioned stele-inscription (yù zhì 御制) by the Yǒng lè emperor for a Zhēn wǔ 真武 temple, composed 1415. Part of the Yǒng lè court’s sweeping patronage of the Zhēn wǔ cult, which centered on Wǔ dāng shān 武當山 (Húběi) where the emperor simultaneously funded the construction of a monumental Daoist complex. Preserved as DZ 960 / CT 960 (Dòngshén bù, Jì chuán lèi 洞神部記傳類).
