This 1-fascicle text by 道通 Dàotōng — the same author as Tūn hǎi jí 吞海集 (X239) — is a compact treatise on the fǎ xiàng 法相 (“phenomenal categories” or “characteristics of dharmas”) of the Avataṃsaka, organised in pán jié 槃節 (“tortoise-joints” — i.e. articulated structural divisions modeled on the joints of a tortoise’s shell).
