This 1-fascicle text by 道通 Dàotōng — the same author as [[KR6e0123|Tūn hǎi jí 吞海集]] (X239) — is a compact treatise on the fǎ xiàng 法相 (“phenomenal categories” or “characteristics of dharmas”) of the Avataṃsaka, organised in pán jié 槃節 (“tortoise-joints” — i.e. articulated structural divisions modeled on the joints of a tortoise’s shell).

Abstract
The bracket adopted here (1100 – 1280) reflects the Southern-Sòng period of Dàotōng’s activity. The work is preserved in the Manji Xù zàng jīng (X1013) collection, alongside its companion [[KR6e0123|Tūn hǎi jí]] (X239) and [[KR6e0133|Pī yún jí]] (X1014).
