About the work
The Shēnrì ér běn jīng (T536) is a one-fascicle Liú-Sòng translation by Guṇabhadra 求那跋陀羅 (求那跋陀羅). It is the third Chinese translation of the Candraprabha-kumāra cycle (cf. KR6i0164, KR6i0165).

Abstract
Guṇabhadra’s translation provides a smoother-style version of the Candraprabha-Sundaya narrative. Translation dated to his productive period (435–468 CE).
