A one-fascicle Esoteric ritual manual by Amoghavajra (不空) for the Bhaiṣajyaguru practice — companion to Vajrabodhi’s earlier KR6j0093 in the Bhaiṣajyaguru ritual corpus. Recension A of two parallel recensions (T924A and T924B = KR6j0094 and KR6j0095), both bearing the same title and attributed to Amoghavajra.
Abstract
The text gives Amoghavajra’s codification of the Bhaiṣajyaguru sādhana, complementing Vajrabodhi’s earlier version (KR6j0093) and establishing the canonical Tang Esoteric Bhaiṣajyaguru practice. The composition dates from Amoghavajra’s mature Chángān period (746–774).
