This pair of texts (KR6n0092 kē + KR6n0093 chāo) is the principal Sòng-dynasty sub-commentary on Fǎzàng’s Dàshèng fǎjiè wú chābié lùn shū and one of the few sustained Sòng-period engagements with the Tathāgatagarbha-tradition treatises in Chinese Buddhist scholarship.
The dating window adopted follows the established floruit for 普觀 (c. 1100–1180) — biographical details for him are sparse; the catalogs preserve only his honorific Guāngyán Wújì dàshī 光嚴無際大師.
