Two-juan yǔlù of Ǒuān / Zhúān Zhēnyǎn 真衍 藕菴真衍 (= 竹庵衍), LínjìYángqí Hǔ-qiū-school dharma-heir of Jīnmíng Jièlǎo 金明介老. Compiled by fǎsì Gǔlín Jīrú 機如. Front-preface (preserved in juan 1) summarizes the lineage: 臨濟 → 15 → 斷橋 / 雪巖 → 斷橋 → 14 → 金明 → 真衍. Printed as Jiāxīng Canon J36 B345.
Abstract
Authorship. Lineage-position established in the front-preface: 真衍 is fǎzhí / dharma-nephew of Yǒngzhèng Yī (cf. KR6q0455) and Píngshān Zhēnběn 真本 (cf. KR6q0202) — three parallel 真-generation Hǔ-qiū-line heirs of Jīnmíng Jièlǎo. Lifedates not preserved.
Dating. notBefore = c. 1655 (post-mid-century preaching). notAfter = c. 1685 as a conservative bound.
Lineage. Hǔqiū → Wúzhǔn → Duànqiáo Lún (Sòng) → 14 generations → PǔmíngYòng → Jīnmíng Jièlǎo → 真衍 + heir Jīrú 機如 (whose own yǔlù is at KR6q0491).
