Eight-juan yǔlù of Huìyuè Zhìxù 晦嶽智旭 (cf. the disambiguation block in 智旭) — LínjìYángqí dharma-heir of Shānduó Zhēnzài 真在 (1621–1672), thus a co-disciple of 機能 (cf. KR6q0536). NOT to be confused with the famous late-Míng integrative master Ŏuyì Zhìxù 蕅益智旭 (1599–1655), who shares the dharma-name. Native of Qíshuǐ 蘄水 (Húběi), lay surname Wáng 王. Lifedates unknown — was active across multiple major Jiāxīng / Zhènjiāng abbacies between 1683 and 1703. Compiled by his attendant Yùnshí Quánlín 全琳 děng lù.
The yǔlù is exceptional among the late J38 collections for its sweep of seven major abbacies, all in the lower Yangtze: Jiāxīng Jīnmíng chánsì 嘉興府金明禪寺 (entered 康熙癸亥 10/3 = 1683-11-21, the seat of his teacher Shānduó’s lineage-grandfather Jièān Wùjìn), Sāntǎ Lóngyuān Hǎihuì Jǐngdé chánsì 三塔龍淵海會景德禪寺 (Jiāxīng — the same site held earlier by 圓法 and 真雄), Zhènjiāng Běigùshān Gānlùsì Hǎimén chányuàn 鎮江府北固山甘露寺海門禪院, Zhènjiāng Gānlù chánsì 鎮江府甘露禪寺 proper, Jīngkǒu Dàjué chánsì 京口大覺禪寺, Shèngguǒ chánsì 勝果禪寺, then a return to Jīnmíng, and finally Jiāxīng Zhēnrú chánsì 嘉興府真如禪寺. Other points of interest
The yǔlù is the largest single collection in the Jièān / Shānduó sub-lineage and traces the JiāxīngZhènjiāng axis of LínjìYángqí abbatial circulation in the late Kāngxī era — Huìyuè Zhìxù held more abbacies in succession than any of his cousin-monks documented in KR6q0532–KR6q0536. The succession at Sāntǎ Lóngyuān (Jiāxīng) traces a multi-generational continuity: 圓法 (1663–1669) → 真雄 (post-1672) → 晦嶽智旭. The 1703 print date places the corpus among the later Jiā-xīng-canon supplemental imprints.
