Recorded Sayings of Chán Master Chún-bèi Dé by 廣德 (說), 智遠 (等編)
Two-juan yǔlù of Chúnbèi Guǎngdé 廣德 純備廣德 (lifedates unknown, active 1666–1672+), LínjìYángqí dharma-heir of Ěrdú Dàotài 耳毒道泰 — thus a co-disciple of Huànzhù Míng Huànzhù Míng (cf. KR6q0549). Native of Shǔdōng Fēngdū 蜀東鄷都 (= 酆都, Sìchuān), lay surname Lǐ 李. Compiled by his fǎsì Fǎchuáng Zhìyuǎn 智遠 děng biān. Documents teaching at two abbacies on the upper-Yangtze gorge corridor: Yílíngzhōu Huánglíngshān Yuèxiá chányuàn 彝陵州黃陵月峽禪院 (entered 康熙丙午 = 1666 spring) and Sìguī Fóxīng Dàbēi chányuàn 秭歸佛興大悲禪院 (founded by Guǎngdé in 康熙壬子 = 1672). Other points of interest
This yǔlù together with KR6q0551 (the yǔlù of his disciple Fǎchuáng Zhìyuǎn) documents the late-Kāngxī LínjìYángqí presence on the Yílíng 彝陵 / Sìguī 秭歸 stretch of the Yangtze gorges — a corridor of strategic monastic geography that received heavy state patronage as part of post-Sānfān-luàn reconstruction. Guǎngdé’s founding of Fóxīng Dàbēi chányuàn at Sìguī in 1672 is a primary record of that effort.
