Mǐnshù chánshī yǔlù 敏樹禪師語錄
Recorded Sayings of Chán Master Mǐn-shù by 如相 (說), 道崇 (編), 道領 (錄)
Substantial ten-juan yǔlù of Mǐnshù Rúxiāng 如相 敏樹如相 (1603 – 1672-12-21, age 70, sēnglà 45), LínjìYángqí 32nd-generation dharma-heir of Pòshān Hǎimíng 海明 (1597–1666) and the foundational figure of the major Mǐnshù 敏樹 sub-line of southwestern LínjìYángqí Buddhism. Native of Tóngchuānzhōu Línshuǐ 潼川州鄰水 (Sìchuān), lay surname Wáng 王. Compiled by his fǎsì Tiānyǐn Dàochóng 道崇 biān + recorded by his fǎsì Chìsōng Dàolǐng 道領 lù (whose own yǔlù is KR6q0565). Two prefaces dated 康熙戊辰蒲月 = 1688 lunar 5 by 貴陽黔靈山弘福寺.
The yǔlù documents seven successive abbacies across the southwestern frontier circuit: Sìchuān Diànjiāngxiàn Bǎizhàng chányuàn 四川墊江縣百丈禪院 (the principal seat); Húguǎng Shīzhōuwèi Wànshòu chánsì 湖廣施州衛萬壽禪寺; Sìchuān Péngshuǐxiàn Tàipíng chánsì 四川彭水縣太平禪寺; Guìzhōu Shíqiānfǔ Sānmèi chányuàn 貴州石阡府三昧禪院; Sìchuān Zūnyìfǔ Hǎilóngshān Gǔlóng chányuàn 四川遵義府海龍山古龍禪院; Wànxiàn Cíyún chányuàn 萬縣慈雲禪院 (re-entered); Guìzhōu Dàxīng chánsì 貴州大興禪寺. notBefore ≈ 1645 (post-fùfǎ abbacy onset); notAfter = 1688 (preface). The Mǐnshù sub-line founded by Rúxiāng is one of the largest LínjìYángqí lineage-clusters in the late-17th-century SìchuānGuìzhōuYúnnán region, parallel to the Zhàngxuě Tōngzuì 丈雪通醉 and Shèngkě Déyù 聖可德玉 sub-lines also under Pòshān Hǎimíng. Its 24 fǎsì span the entire southwestern frontier; many of these are independently documented in J38–J39 yǔlù: 耳毒泰 → Huànzhù Míng (KR6q0549), 耳毒泰 → 廣德 (KR6q0550), 道領 (KR6q0565), 穎秀 → 性炅 (KR6q0524), etc.
