Two-juan yǔlù of Xǐxīn Zhàoshuǐ 照水 洗心照水 (lifedates unknown — was 30 in 1683, age 45 in 1698), LínjìYángqí dharma-heir of Xiànglín Běnzhēn 本真 (1620–1691, cf. KR6q0571). Native of Jiànkāng Jiāngníng 建康江寧 (Nánjīng), lay surname Liú 劉. Compiled by his attendants Shíyún 實雲 (catalog form; the source itself reads 實雪 Shíxuě) and Hǎiqīng 海清 děng biān.
Three prefaces are preserved: by lay scholar Zhào Yùnxī 趙運熙 (拔貢) dated 康熙丁卯歲春王上元日 = 1687-02-26 (lunar 1/15, Yuánxiāo); a 康熙丙寅 = 1686 verse-text; and by a former 副總兵 zuǒdūdū of Qúxié 衢協 region (Zhèjiāng) dated 康熙乙亥秋九月 = 1695-10. Documents teaching at four lower-Yangtze abbacies: Huáyánsì 華嚴寺 (entered 康熙癸酉中秋 = 1693-09); Bǎoqìng 寶慶; Guānyīnsì 觀音寺 (entered 康熙甲戌元宵 = 1694-02); Xiāngyánsì 香巖寺 (the principal seat). notBefore = 1683 (癸亥 fùfǎ); notAfter = 1698 (last attested year). Other points of interest
The pairing with KR6q0571 (Běnzhēn) shows a complete teacher-disciple sequence within the LínjìYángqí 35-generation series: tonsure under Zhèngjué Rùnguāng Zé 潤光澤 (cf. KR6q0234) → fùfǎ under Báiyún Xiànglín Běnzhēn 本真 in 1683 — Zhàoshuǐ’s editorial work spans both lineage-lines. The 1695 preface by a Zhèjiāng military commander indicates substantial provincial-elite patronage, perhaps building on Zhàoshuǐ’s Jiāngníng (Nánjīng) lay-Buddhist family background.
