Other points of interest

The Pánshān Zhōngpánsì 盤山中盤寺 is one of the major imperial-Qīng Buddhist temples — the same Pánshān where Huīzhōu Hào (cf. KR6q0573) of the next generation also held abbacy. Tánzhèsì 潭柘寺 in the western Beijing hills was historically one of the most prestigious abbacies in the empire (“先有潭柘寺,後有北京城” — “Tánzhèsì existed before Beijing was built”). The Manchu-court Buddhist patronage axis traceable through Dàbó (1652+) → Huīzhōu Hào (1675+) is among the most important documented in the Jiāxīng Canon.
