Cónglún 從倫 (Línquán Cónglún 林泉從倫)

Yuán-dynasty Cáodòng-lineage Chán master. Hào Línquán 林泉 (“Forest-Spring”), Línquán lǎorén 林泉老人 (“Old-Man of Forest-Spring”). Also called Bàoēn Cónglún 報恩從倫 (for his Bàoēnsì 報恩寺 abbacy). Born 1223; death year unrecorded (active late 13th century).

Principal surviving Kanripo-canonical contribution: the píng chàng 評唱 (“evaluation-singing” running-commentary) on Tóuzǐ Yìqīng’s 投子義青 (1032–1083) sòng gǔ, producing the Línquán lǎorén píng chàng Tóuzǐ Qīng héshàng sòng gǔ Kōng gǔ jí 林泉老人評唱投子青和尚頌古空谷集 KR6q0251. This composition parallels Wànsōng Xíngxiù 萬松行秀’s earlier Cóng róng lù KR6q0114 structure (Wànsōng on Hóngzhì) within the broader Yuán-era Cáodòng píng chàng tradition.
