Línquán lǎorén píngchàng Dānxiá Chún chánshī sònggǔ Xūtáng jí 林泉老人評唱丹霞淳禪師頌古虗堂集

Old-Man Línquán’s Evaluation-Singing on Master Dānxiá Chún’s Sònggǔ: Empty-Hall Collection — a six-juan companion-volume to KR6q0251 Kōnggǔ jí, in which the Yuán Cáodòng master Línquán Cónglún 林泉從倫 provides the píngchàng 評唱 commentary on the sònggǔ verses of the Northern-Sòng Cáodòng master Dānxiá Zǐchún 丹霞子淳 (1066–1119). The two pairs KR6q0251 / KR6q0252 together constitute Cónglún’s systematic píngchàng on the two major Northern-Sòng Cáodòng sònggǔ corpora (Yìqīng and Zǐchún).

Abstract

Dānxiá Zǐchún 丹霞子淳 (1066–1119/1120; died Xuānhé 1 / spring, per Chándēng shìpǔ 禪燈世譜 juan 9). Northern-Sòng Cáodòng master; dharma-heir of Fúróng Dàokǎi 芙蓉道楷 in the second major Cáodòng transmission-line. Major teacher of Hóngzhì Zhèngjué 宏智正覺 (1091–1157) whose own sònggǔ would become the basis of the Cóngróng lù.
