Xìngjiǒng 性炅, hào Chángmíng 長明 (“Eternal Light”). LínjìYángqí dharma-heir of Yǐngxiù Zhēnwù 穎秀真悟. Native of Shǔdōng Fúlíng 蜀東涪陵 (Sìchuān); lay surname Shí 石. Birth date unknown; died Kāngxī wùshēn = 1668 (DILA: between 1668-02-12 and 1669-01-31, since the lunar Wùshēn year straddles two Gregorian years).
Formation. Tonsured young under elder Jíchū 極初. Studied Mahāyāna scripture-treatise under Bóshuǐ 渤水法師. Trained under Xiàngyá 象崖和尚 and Yǐngxiù 穎秀和尚, receiving final dharma-transmission from Yǐngxiù Zhēnwù.
Abbacies. Chénzhōu Lóngshān 辰州龍山, Chénzhōu Pǔfēng 辰州浦峰, Lǐzhōu Pútí 灃州菩提, Yuánzhōu Tàihé 沅州太和.
Disciples. Two fǎsì: Fǎzhù Hǎidòng 法柱海棟 海棟 (compiler of his yǔlù, in turn author of KR6q0525) and Zhǐàn Hǎicí 止岸海慈.
