Yú Gēnchū 俞根初 ( Tóngtián 桐田, 1734–1799, 清), Shàoxīng-region Qiánlóng-Jiāqìng-period physician, founder of the Shàoxīng Shānghán tradition that would become central to Zhèjiāng medicine through the late Qīng and Republican periods. His Tōngsú Shānghán lùn 通俗傷寒論 — composed in the late 18th century, circulating in manuscript and local prints — was edited and re-published in the early Republican period by 何廉臣 Hé Liánchén as the Zēngdìng tōngsú Shānghán lùn (KR3ef031, 1916) and Chóngdìng tōngsú Shānghán lùn (KR3ef036, 1934).
